Apparently I'm out of the cool new music loop. There is a reason it's pushing 120million view on YouTube.
The featured vocalist has an amazing natural voice. The build up to the chorus is nearly half way through the song. The chorus is the strongest section of the song in terms of vocals. This is the only time i can recall a male voice over powering a female voice During the ooos and awes that are background to the chorus. Starting with an extra long verse then transitioning into kimbra's verse was amazing. Unique song structure. Great lyrics. Give it a listen

Little Weapon, by Lupe Fiasco

This song has one of the best introductions I have ever heard.  The first verse is very powerful as well.  It is discussing the issue of violence.  Mainly gun violence.  He descries a few different scenarios involving gun violence.  The first verse is my favorite of all the verses.  You tend to hear about gun violence in rap.  Lupe's first verse of Little Weapon describes the Rebels in Africa that use children as soldiers.  Please if you find the time take a listen to Lupe Fiasco's Little Weapon-

I was looking at the mountains today, mainly bogus basin ski resort, and I realized I have only used my pass twice this year.  Besides hitting up Pomerelle on New Years Day, those two bogus trips are the only time I have rode this entire winter..Horse S*!t.  I think its only because I purchased a new board over the summer and now I am being punished.  Or is my life being saved? Who knows! Either way I'm not happy about the slim ride time.

I went to Bogus Basin ski resort today.  The snow was pretty slushy but overall it was a great time.  I rode up with two friends.  After about an hour of riding, we met up with four other people.  A group of six riding on a Wednesday! Super sweet.  That is all for now. Stay tuned for day 2
